These are all good questions. I just finished a draft of an article where I'm poking around the question that maybe these efforts are designed to fail -- they're certainly more "crawl" than "walk". But again, when you look at how bloated most SaaS and especially BI software has become, the simplification that GenAI brings is warranted. Is it ultimately good for the customer? Probably not.
