As for the solo, I think it’s the same thing, still critical, but the process is going to look different. Basically the solo needs to wear all the hats, and honestly, this is where most solos struggle, because they’re usually great at a couple things, good at a few more, and terrible at at least one (me included).

This is where your network, an advisor, a mentor, even a consultant can really help you out. They don’t even have to have their hands on the keyboard, but just be able to guide you or be there to bounce questions off of.
