Thanks Bryan. I’d separate it by function, not by number. Number is more of a Spotify thing, while function crosses the entire org. So maybe you’ve got a pod of 10 in development, maybe 2in HR, 3in marketing, whatever. That gives you a core for each function and you can add an subtract resources while keeping the company headcount at a constant. Need five more on the development team for a big push or client? Hire them as consultants or independent contractors, pod them up, and go.
