The headline of this post reads like pure, uncut snark. And it is. But it’s also verbatim the question I asked “Mike,” the CEO of a tech company whom I’ve known for just about the entirety of his tenure.

“Very funny,” he quipped in a way that made it clear my question wasn’t funny. “But we stopped using LinkedIn during the pandemic.”

“When they went full social network?” I asked.

Pregnant pause. “LinkedIn is a social network?… Like Facebook?”

Yes. I had to explain that not only is LinkedIn pretty much a full-blown social network now, but as a social network, they’re raking it in.

I’ll get more into that announcement later.

Because there’s a huge twist coming.

And it concerns you, whether you’re seeking a job or not, or whether you’re hiring or not.

But Seriously, Have You Filled Those Open…
