Hey Mark, I totally appreciate your feedback and point of view and I’ll just ask you to read it again. I’m recommending instead of wasting time perfecting and memorizing a canned pitch, learn how to quantify and qualify every aspect of the problem you’re trying to solve and the solution you’re proposing. Then I explain how to do that in the second half of the post, in a way to be able to find fit and then custom pitch to anyone who does fit. To me, that’s the right way to prepare for any encounter, elevator or no.
Maybe I didn’t make it clear enough quickly enough, and if so that’s on me. I ramble sometimes.
